Concrete stain can be used over:

• Dry shake color hardener

• Clear liquid release

How long will it last?
Concrete stain uses a chemical reaction with the concrete making it become part of the concrete surface.

   Unique Characteristics - Transparent marbling look
2. Scolfield Systems - Lithochrome Chemstain Classic Data Sheet
   Unique Characteristic - Ideal for natural stone shading and faux finishes

How do you apply it?
Ready to go out of the jug.
Concrete stains can be applied with a sprayer or a brush for small areas.
*New Concrete - allow 30 days for concrete to cure.
*Existing Concrete – Remove sealers, curing compounds, oil, and paint.

How do I know my concrete is cleaned?
*DO NOT use acid to clean the concrete before staining.
• Test by wetting the concrete, if the water beads up, then it needs more preparation work, if it doesn’t then you are good to stain.

Limitations of the stain?
• Concrete that has been saturated with oil may not allow the chemical reaction.
• Concrete that has a color hardener may change the colored effect of the stain.
• Important: Green stains are for indoor use only because they react with moisture and will turn dark.
